At 6:30 pm this evening, a British Airways 747 will take the Weiseth 4 to balmy, sunny London to visit some much-favoured friends for a week. Sean told me to "ring when we're ready to be collected," which I believe means "call when we're ready to be picked up." One never really knows what these Brits are talking about.
On March 1, we leave Heathrow for Johannesburg, and a short flight from Joburg has us touching down in Gabs around 9 in the morning on March 2.
Let me start a new paragraph now, the standard writer strategy for particularly emphasizing a point. We are so deeply thankful for the truly incredible sendoff we received these past few weeks from people all over the Puget Sound, and beyond. Thank you, friends and family. We feel your collective push behind us as we slingshot off the continent. We will miss you very much indeed. And now, to the skies!

Today I heard Avery tell someone that her best friend Malena just moved to Africa and she was sad that she wouldn't be knocking on our front door anymore... See you guys in 2 years! Have a wonderful journey. We will be checking in to see what adventures you are having.
